Background Project: Impacts of COVID-19 in Bay Area County Jails

This research grew out of a need for better understanding of Covid-19 in jails. This project’s initial goal was screening and public health surveillance, and expanding to better understanding perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors surrounding Covid-19.

Dissertation Project: Covid-19 and Health in County Jail: Perspectives from people living inside

This project built on the project described above, aiming to better understand how the jail setting shaped people’s health perceptions and behaviors during the coronavirus pandemic.
